This pattern is cool and I get the idea behind it, but I'd argue the kick is more important and audible and should deserve a jump too.
I get the point of what you're saying but I just really think the enjoyment of gameplay is a bit more important and it still fits the map here. I think I might leave this. Will wait and see if other people have concerns for it though.
