Why not layer in the crashes as jumps? You do this later on in the song (ex. 63470|2,63470|1) so I'm not sure why you don't here?

because this section is more rhythmically complex, i made it with beginning players in mind. Using jumps in the same section as 1/4ths and 1/3rds is a bad idea if you want an accessible easy diff.
