both of our versions have vastly different ideas, my idea is to make the representation simple (jumpstream ftw), cuckson's idea's also good but his ver is so much more complicated and not really what I'm going for.
putting this on hold for now. (might replace the transition rolls though)
(oops, it's just a pretty moderate difference cuz it's still jumpstream)
cuckson - jumptrill/splittrills too repetitive, makes the patterning bad and boring
